Fedcap is committed to effecting long-term, sustainable change among the populations and communities we serve.
Our programs and operations in the Northeast bring education and the power of work to individuals with disabilities, adults with conviction histories, veterans, and many others facing barriers to employment.
We provide evaluation, education, vocational and skills training, career counseling, job placement and post-employment support.
We offer state-certified training in 10 career tracks including culinary arts, security and public safety, and home healthcare.
We also provide extensive "soft" skills training in, for example, resume development, interviewing and workplace behavior.
Fedcap places people in jobs across a wide variety of business sectors and employs 1,800 in our own $100M managed-services operations.
Vocational Rehabilitation, Training and Job Placement
Building on our longtime leadership in vocational rehabilitation, Fedcap provides a full range of workforce development services from evaluation and career counseling through vocational and soft-skills training to job placement and post-employment support.
Wildcat Service Corp.
In 2012, Fedcap combined with Wildcat Service Corp., renowned for pioneering work with New York City’s ex-offenders, disconnected youth, public assistance recipients and unemployed individuals, and for such innovations as the Wall Street Private/Public Partnership and the Neighborhood Improvement Program.
This program of the New York City Department of Probation and Small Business Services helps probationers in Manhattan and the Bronx prepare for, secure and maintain employment, and offers local businesses a trained, qualified and pre-screened workforce.
Fedcap is committed to helping returning veterans achieve success in the civilian workforce.
