Fedcap Home Care provides high-quality home health and personal care services to people who are elderly, disabled and/or recuperating from illness. Fedcap Home Care is licensed by the New York State Department of Health and accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO).
Everyday, our goal is to provide complete care and comfort to our patients.
We serve people in all boroughs except Staten Island. Available services include:
|
 |
- Assistance with bathing, dressing, eating, and grooming
- Help with walking indoors and outdoors
- Light housekeeping
- Cooking, shopping and laundry assistance
Services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week and are provided by reliable, competent, and caring Home Health Aides. Levels of care are determined by individual need, doctor’s orders, insurance coverage and/or private pay arrangements. We accept some long-term health insurance, and serve patients covered by Medicare and Medicaid through contracts with certified home health agencies.
Fedcap’s home health aides are certified by the NYS Department of Health. We provide our own comprehensive three-week training using the NYS Department of Health curriculum. All aides receive ongoing nursing supervision and in-service training.
Fedcap Home Care also offers special Home Health Aide training in providing care to individuals with hearing loss, mental illness, developmental disabilities, those with difficult home situations, and those with diverse cultural backgrounds.
