Fedcap Aspirations

Our Approach
We understand the unique needs of adults with serious and persistent mental illness. Our program is designed to help those we serve manage their illness and day to day living and live self-sufficient lives. Our vision is that every person we serve will expand their horizons and achieve goals they never thought possible. Upon admission to the program, each individual receives a psychiatric assessment, a comprehensive bio psychosocial assessment, and participates in developing an Individual Recovery Plan.

PCMHC02Who We Serve
Our programming is available to adults 18 years and older who are diagnosed with a major mental illness. We currently accept those persons who have Medicaid as well as private insurance. We specialize in helping adults who either are at risk for or have a history of psychiatric hospitalizations, those who are on probation or Krol status, and those experiencing significant functional limitations in several life facets.

Our Staff
Our skilled, compassionate and experienced multidisciplinary, bi-lingual treatment team consists of board certified psychiatrists, licensed clinicians, and a licensed nurse.

Our Programming
Aspirations is open Monday through Friday 8am to 2pm. We use group modality, engaging in lively and sensitive discussions promoting recovery and using peer-to-peer support to enhance personal growth and accountability. We also discuss how to manage day to day symptoms, develop social networks, and develop the skills required to live independently. In addition, we utilize the Wellness Recovery Action Plan and Illness Management and Recovery approaches to maximize personal growth.

Additional Benefits
Breakfast and lunch daily with no additional cost to the consumer. We also provide transportation to and from programming daily, through a contracted transportation company. We also assist consumers in obtaining reduced fare passes through Medicaid and provide onsite laboratory services to complement treatment provided by our psychiatrists.
