Senior Management

John Hughes, who joined Fedcap in May 2006 as Director of Development, designs and oversees the nonprofit’s philanthropic and advancement efforts. His more than 20 years of fund-raising experience also includes The Central Florida Zoo, The Palm Beach Zoo, Ballet Florida, the New York Blood Center, Village Care of New York and Bon Secours New York Health System. A member of the Greater New York Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, he has held leadership positions on its Board of Directors and is a member and former chair of its Audit Committee.

Mr. Hughes received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Mount St. Mary College, with certification in elementary and special education.
